Needwood Farm

Due to a limited number of field trees remaining and a small number of pre-cut trees available, Saturday, December 9, 2023 from 9am to 4pm will be the last day that the tree fields will be open.

–we still have fresh-made wreaths available; also our home-grown honey and home-made fruit jam;

–we will be available on 12/9 to 12/10 and 12/16 to 12/17 for anyone who has tagged a tree to pick up (other times may be available by appointment);

–all complimentary services (shaking, baling, drilling) will be available;

–our food vendor will not be on-site;

Thanks for another great year. We’ll start planting more trees soon and look forward to seeing everyone again next year. MERRY CHRISTMAS!

It’s that time of year again. Christmas tree fields will be opening this Friday, November 24, 2023. We will be open for a three-day weekend to start, followed by Saturday/Sunday weekends into December. Hours are 9am to 4pm.

We have a nice selection of Choose-and-Cut trees in the field. We also have some beautiful North Carolina grown Fraser Fir and Silver Fir (remember, you can’t grow them here), for those with a hankering for a pre-cut tree. We have saws and carts on site, or bring your own if you prefer. We’ll shake, wrap, and drill most trees (<8′) at no additional cost. Some of the larger trees are just too big for our equipment.

This year, we will be offering freshly made wreaths (NEW).

Jerrie Louck is back (Louck’s Catering) and offering a great menu, including homemade breakfast sandwiches, scones, donuts, and muffins; Maryland crabcakes, Italian sausages, Jerrie Burgers, jumbo and regular hot dogs, drinks and desserts. Jerrie will also be offering Cookie Decorating for the kids!
